Submit Your Veteran Story
We welcome veterans to submit their story and start a conversation. Stories, if verified by us, can be published on our website either anonymously or attributed. It is our sole discretion whether we decide to publish a story or not. We can provide help in writing your story in your words.
We accept stories from both your time in-service and out-of-service. Every veteran should be heard!
Need Help Telling Your Story?
Not every veteran is comfortable writing their story, and that is okay. If you have a real life story to share but need help putting it into words, we can assist you.
You may submit notes, memories, or a rough draft. We can also speak with you by phone, listen to your story, and help write it for you. If needed, your phone conversation may be recorded so the story can be prepared accurately. Local veterans may also be invited to meet in person for help writing their story.
Before anything is published, you will have the chance to review and approve the final version. Your story will not be shared without your approval.
